# Connect Amazon Source: https://docs.getjasin.com/essentials/amazon-credentials How to connect your own Amazon credentials to Jasin, and what each connection status means. ## Why Jasin asks for your Amazon credentials Amazon gives out product data through its Creators API, and it gives access to that API to individual Associates accounts, not to tools like Jasin. So you bring your own credentials, and Jasin uses them to fetch prices, images, and titles for your cards. You keep control. Your credentials stay yours, the product data is pulled under your own Amazon account, and you can disconnect at any time. You only do this once. After you connect, Jasin keeps your cards up to date on its own. *** ## Before you start You need an Amazon Associates account. If you don't have one yet, sign up at [affiliate-program.amazon.com](https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/) first. It's free. *** ## Get your credentials Go to [affiliate-program.amazon.com](https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/) and sign in with your Associates account. Amazon also lists this as the Product Advertising API, and it moves the menu around from time to time. If you can't spot it, search the page for "API". Create a new credential. Amazon shows you three things: a **Credential ID**, a **Credential Secret**, and a **version** number such as 3.1. Amazon shows the secret once. If you close the page without copying it, you have to create a new credential. Treat the credential secret like a password. Anyone who has it can spend your Amazon API quota. *** ## Connect it to Jasin Go to [Settings](https://getjasin.com/settings) and find the Amazon API card. You'll also see this form the first time you add a product, since connecting is step one of adding your first card. Jasin encrypts the secret before storing it and never shows it again, not even to you. Choose the version Amazon showed next to your credential. Most people in the US have **3.1**. The UK is 3.2 and Japan is 3.3. Jasin checks the credentials with Amazon right away and tells you what it found. *** ## What each status means | Status | What it means | What to do | | -------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ | | **Connected** | Amazon is serving product data. | Nothing. Your cards update on their own. | | **Not eligible yet** | Your credentials are correct, but Amazon isn't serving product data to your account yet. | Wait, and make some qualifying sales. See below. | | **Invalid** | Amazon rejected these credentials. | Check for a typo, or create a fresh credential and paste it again. | | **Untested** | Saved, but not checked with Amazon yet. | Use **Check again** on the Amazon API card. | *** ## "Not eligible yet" explained This is the most common status for new accounts, and it is not a mistake on your part. Amazon only serves product data to Associates accounts that have made recent qualifying sales. Roughly, that means about three sales in the last 180 days, though Amazon sets the exact bar and changes it without notice. Until you clear it, every product request comes back refused. **What this looks like in Jasin:** your cards keep working and keep earning, but their prices freeze at the last value Jasin was able to fetch. **What to do:** keep sharing your existing cards and links. Once your sales qualify, Amazon opens up the API on its own. You don't have to keep checking. Jasin re-checks accounts in this state once a week and emails you as soon as yours starts working. *** ## Frequently asked questions You need a connection to create new cards, because Jasin has to fetch the product data from somewhere. Cards you already made keep working. No, they're two different things. Your affiliate tag decides who earns the commission on a click. Your credentials decide who Amazon serves product data to. You need both. No. It's encrypted before it's stored and never shown again. If you lose it, create a new credential in Associates Central and paste that one instead. Your existing cards keep working and keep their last known prices. You won't be able to create new cards until you connect again. Check that the version matches what Amazon showed next to the credential. A correct ID and secret with the wrong version is rejected the same way a typo is. *** ## Still stuck? Email [support@getjasin.com](mailto:support@getjasin.com) and include your account email and the status shown on your Amazon API card. Don't send your credential secret. # Account & Dashboard Source: https://docs.getjasin.com/essentials/authentication Learn how to manage your Jasin account, understand plan limits, and access your dashboard features. ## Creating Your Account Getting started with Jasin is free and only takes a minute. When you click through to Amazon, you'll see prices converted to your local currency during checkout. This is normal behavior that ensures our affiliate partnerships work correctly. Your existing embeds keep working normally even if you downgrade from Pro to Free. If you have more than 3 cards, you won't be able to add new ones until you delete some or upgrade again. Yes. Every plan, including Free, uses your own Amazon affiliate tag, so commissions from your cards belong to you. Each card can have its own tag, and you can set a profile-level tag in Settings that covers any card without one. *** ## Data & Privacy ### Your Data * **Embeds** – All product cards you've created, including analytics * **Account Info** – Email, encrypted password, subscription data * **Usage Data** – How you use the service (used for product improvement) *** # Pricing Source: https://docs.getjasin.com/essentials/pricing Simple, transparent pricing that scales with you ## Choose Your Plan Start free, upgrade when you need more cards. All plans include product cards and view/click tracking, and every plan uses your own Amazon affiliate tag. **\$0/month** * • Up to 3 product cards at a time * • Your own affiliate tag * • Both themes, light and dark * • Prices kept up to date automatically * • View and click counts * • Community support, plus email within 48 hours **\$15/month** Everything in Free, plus: * • As many product cards as you want * • Full analytics with bot traffic filtered out * • Hide the Jasin badge * • Email support within 24 hours *** ## Annual Billing Pro is also available for \$120/year — two months free compared to paying monthly. *** ## Frequently Asked Questions You'll need to delete an existing card to free up a slot before adding a new one, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited cards. Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Your existing cards keep working. If you're over the 3-card Free limit after downgrading, you won't be able to add new cards until you're back under the limit. Every plan, including Free, uses your own Amazon affiliate tag. The commission from clicks on your cards belongs to you, not to Jasin. Bot detection spots non-human traffic, like crawlers and link checkers, so your numbers reflect real people. The bot-filtered analytics view is a Pro feature. Yes, in one click from your dashboard. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and your cards stay live either way. Both plans need a free Amazon Associates account with API access. Jasin builds and hosts the cards; the product data comes through your own Amazon credentials. See [Connect Amazon](/essentials/amazon-credentials). *** ## Ready to Get Started? Create your first product embed # Analytics Source: https://docs.getjasin.com/features/analytics Track views, clicks, and CTR with bot detection ## Overview Jasin provides analytics for all your embed cards with bot detection and performance insights. Data updates as users interact with your embeds. Jasin tracks views, clicks, and CTR only. Amazon's API doesn't report how much you make from each link, so Jasin can't show what a card sold or how much it made. *** ## Key Metrics Total number of times your embed cards were displayed Number of users who clicked through to Amazon Click-through rate (clicks ÷ views × 100) *** ## Dashboard ### Data Filters * **Time Ranges**: View data for today, last 7 days, this month, or custom date ranges * **Top Performers**: See which products are generating the most engagement ### Bot Detection Our bot detection system filters out non-human traffic: * **User-Agent Analysis**: Identifies known bot signatures * **Behavioral Patterns**: Detects automated interaction patterns * **IP Reputation**: Filters traffic from known bot networks * **JavaScript Execution**: Requires JavaScript for view tracking * **Search Engines**: Google, Bing, Yahoo crawlers - **Social Media**: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn * **Monitoring**: Uptime monitors and site checkers - **Malicious**: Scrapers and spam bots The bot-filtered analytics view is a Pro feature.
